Unexpected Start of Negotiations

The site "Lagazet de Finik" revealed that the federation had not initially considered Buitto, as his agents suggested his name to replace the Swiss coach Vladimir Petkovic in the role of Walid Sadri. Nevertheless, the federation seized the opportunity to contact Buitto to learn about his financial and technical demands.

Current Negotiation Status

Recent reports indicate that negotiations have not progressed significantly, as Algeria gives priority to other names. However, the possibility of bringing Buitto back remains on the table. Buitto expressed willingness to accept a monthly salary far lower than what Petkovic earned, and agreed to the condition of having two Algerian assistants in the new coaching staff.
