Monsef Bakrar said in his remarks: "My goal is to delight the Algerian fans in the coming period." The player, who currently plays for Egypt's Al Ahly on a three-year contract, added: "We will try to give our best."
This recall comes at an important time for the national team, which sits third in World Cup qualifying with four points from three games. The current absentees list includes Yassine Titraoui and Farès Chaïbi.
